AI Hockey is a small fantasy hockey pool management app. This page explains what we collect and how we use it. We keep things simple and only collect what we need to run the service.
When you sign in, we use Clerk to manage authentication, which stores your email address and basic profile information. We also store the pools, teams, and picks you create within the app.
Your information is used to operate AI Hockey: to authenticate you, associate you with your pools, display your selections and scores, and (where applicable) process pool hosting payments. We do not sell your personal information.
Some pages show partner promotions and, when fill is enabled, third-party display ads from Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. When our Google publisher client id is configured, the AdSense script may load sitewide for inventory verification and future fill even if no ad creative is shown on a given page. Platinum pools with the ad-free add-on (and Enterprise pools) suppress on-page partner banners and AdSense units on pool pages; that does not by itself remove the global script. You can also use browser controls or ad-blocking tools; we may show a one-time reminder, but the pool remains usable.

We rely on a small number of providers to run the app, including Clerk (authentication), OVH (hosting), Stripe (pool billing), Vercel AI Gateway (LLM proxy), Redis, email delivery providers, Google AdSense (optional display ads), and the public NHL API for game data. Their own privacy policies govern the data they process on our behalf.
If you play in a pool, we may email you about draft turns, trades, and trash talk for that pool. Each message includes an unsubscribe link for that type of email in that pool, a way to stop all AI Hockey emails without signing in, and a link to change notification settings. You can also manage these preferences any time under Settings → Notifications.
